Blade Runner Insight’s WAP site was probably the world’s first WAP site about Blade Runner. It’s contents is adapted to the limited bandwidth of the technology, i.e. full articles are not available on a WAP terminal and all graphics are stripped off. It do contain list of articles, general information, countdown and random quotes.
What is WAP?
WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is a secure specification that allows users to access information instantly via handheld wireless devices such as mobile phones, pagers, two-way radios, smartphones and communicators.
How do I Access it?
To access the Blade Runner WAP page, you’ll need a mobile phone or a PDA with WAP capabilities. Most WAP phones are already pre configured by the telephone service provider at the time you purchase it, if not check your manual. Then enter the WAP browser and use the browser’s menu or the homepage to select “goto URL:” -function.
