About Blade Runner Insight

Blade Runner Insight started as a project back in November 1995 to provide a deeper and more profound understanding of the science fiction movie “Blade Runner”. The idea was to create a collection of essays and analytical papers written by people all over the world.

BR Auction @ eBay tomorrow

Just a reminder of the Sci-fi auction at eBay tomorrow at 13:00 Pacific Standard Time. Quite a few Blade Runner collectibles registered on the auction, including; Deckard’s gun, Zhora’s raincoat, Tyrell building panel ,Rachael’s dress and some additional props (at the bottom of the page).

Status update

As I have mentioned before, the server hosting Blade Runner Insight attacked a month ago, which resulted in heavy damaged to this site. 82′ version on norwegian TV2

Yesterday (friday), norwegian BR-fans were surprised when the norwegian television channel ‘TV2′ aired the 1982 version of Blade Runner. Usually it is the Director’s Cut version that is broadcasted by the media. In addition the 82′ version was aired in widescreen format (2.35:1).
