Exhibition: SCI-FI in Southern California

Now is the last chance to visit this exhibition, as it will close on Jan. 26, 2003. The “Barsoom to Blade Runner: SCI-FI in Southern California” exhibition has been on display since Oct. 12, 2002 at the Fullerton Museum Center.

Ridley Scott recived knighthood

Ridley Scott, director of Blade Runner, was named a knight of the British Empire in England, leading the list of Queen Elizabeth II’s annual New Year’s Honors. Scott, a three-time Oscar nominee for best director, was honored for his services to the film and television industry.

BR best of 100!

Blade Runner was selected as the no.1 best movie ever by film critic Rob Lowing. Some of the criteria were: imaginative, cinematic, interpretative and groundbreaking.
